ABOUT PET CARE BY DESIGN
Hi, my name is Cassy!
I have always had a passion for animals, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small critters, birds, and reptiles. I started Pet Care By Design in 2015, not only to be able to do something I love and enjoy, but also to make sure your pets can be taken care of in their own homes, should you decide that’s what best for them.
In home care provides the stability of their own environment, and also allows you to travel or work without the worry of pick ups and drop offs to boarding/daycare. Animals are always happy and comfortable in their own space, and I consider myself so lucky to be able to provide that one on one attention.
My goal is to tailor all care specific to your pet(s) because animals have different personalities and needs. The care is designed by YOU. I’ve worked in an animal shelter and a doggie daycare/boarding facility, which has given me experience in all types of animal care, behavior, and medications. All breeds are loved and welcomed!

10-15 MINUTE CHECK IN VISITS $20
30 MINUTE VISITS/WALKS $25
45 MINUTE VISITS/WALKS $30
1 HOUR VISITS/WALKS $35
Visits can include potty breaks, walks, feeding, litter box scooping, cage cleaning, giving medication, and play times.
TRANSPORT + Specialty
PET CHAUFFEUR STARTING AT $20 - CONTACT FOR QUOTE
Transport to and from vet/grooming appointments, doggie daycare, boarding, etc.
WEDDING PET CARE SERVICE CONTACT FOR QUOTE
Want your pet included in your wedding/wedding photos? We will transport your pet to the venue, help him/her to greet your guests, care for them during the service, and take them back home!
FAMILY PHOTOS PET CARE SERVICE CONTACT FOR QUOTE
Want your pet included in family pictures? We can help make family pictures less stressful by caring for your pet during the photo session.

HOLIDAY FEE $8 per visit on all US holidays
KEY PICK UP/DROP OFF $10 per trip
EMERGENCY CARE/SAME DAY REQUESTS $20 added to the total
(Includes requests made after business
hours the day before)
SERVING ANKENY, POLK CITY, JOHNSTON, AND SURROUNDING AREAS
Trip fee applies to all cities outside of Ankeny
